This project was created for StayReal Park, a pop-up store brand associated with the renowned Chinese-language band Mayday. It included two pop-up stores in Chengdu and Shanghai, along with corresponding installation event designs.

In this project, I mainly focus on the outdoor pop-up store in Chengdu and the installation at the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, responsible for parts of design conception, spatial design and installation design.

StayReal Park Chengdu brought the spirit of Bashi to life, with the theme “Hop on the StayReal Bus to Bashi Park.” Bashi, a quintessential Sichuan philosophy, represents heartfelt appreciation derived from personal experiences. Using modular container elements, a “Dream Cultivation Station” was constructed, fully integrating StayReal’s iconic Mojo Family characters. The exterior resembled oversized, dynamic vegetable cultivation crates, while inside, visitors were greeted by a giant Mojo Carrot boldly popping its head out to warmly welcome every guest. The design aimed to immerse visitors in a whimsical world brimming with dreams and surprises.

StayReal Park Shanghai saw Mojo Carrot and its friends “flying high with joy.” Perched atop the Oriental Pearl Tower, next to its smaller support columns, they were ready to “elope to space” alongside Shanghai’s iconic “big rocket.” Through large inflatable installations, the characters were scaled up to architectural dimensions, seamlessly integrating with the tower. This design created a city-wide visual spectacle, merging architecture and StayReal’s signature characters into an unforgettable urban experience.
