Concept, Installation Design, and Modeling.

This project involved the design of pre-launch performance installations for San San San, a rising music label in Wuhan. The concept is rooted in the foundational numeral “three,” with “San·San·San” revered as a chant of distinction. In the multiverse, the number three holds unique significance, symbolizing sacred wholeness, completeness, and perfection, expressed as Omne Trium Perfectum: three is entirety. The interplay of three vertical lines, three horizontal strokes, and the tension among them creates a distinctive balance. Three dimensions, three sound waves, and three states collide and merge within the field of “San·San·San,” with musical notes traversing three levels to create a singular sensory experience.

In this project, I am mainly responsible for parts of creative ideas, installation design and modeling.

Three distinct spatial installation experiences were designed for the venue: the central installation, “A Singularity Exploding into Three Dimensions,” an interactive multimedia screen, “The Tri-Phase Array Matrix Display,” and the bar area with a signature bar counter, “The Triple-Element Mixed Bar.” These heterogeneous spatial scenarios transform an ordinary bar into an extraordinary performance venue, evoking the atmosphere of a surreal, modern art space.

Up and down, left and right, forward and backward, light radiates into three dimensions. A singularity was created in the venue to traverse three temporal moments—past, present, and future. Here, the singularity becomes a point where the extraordinary explodes, giving rise to both stillness and rebirth. Three states converge into a singularity, and a single explosion gives birth to a three-dimensional space.
