This project is a subsequent pop-up store extension of the “China-Chic Cultural Creativity (Guochao Wenchuang)” exhibition from the Culture & Tourism Industries Exposition, located within the Wuhan MixC. It aims to showcase a selection of the most popular cultural and creative products from the exposition. The pop-up store utilizes the site to extend the display and sales period for these products, attracting a broader audience.

In this project, I am mainly responsible for all parts from idea to implementation, including creative ideas, design refinement, space design, modelling, drawing, material selection, and landing management.

The pop-up space is defined by two distinct solid colors for its interior and exterior. A pure cubic form ensures maximum usability of the space. The opened doors and windows, through a reversal of these colors, bring the interior hue to the outside, adding visual interest. The vibrant colors make the store itself function like a color swatch, becoming the most prominent highlight within the venue.

The furniture utilizes the same modular system designed for the original Culture & Tourism Industries Exposition. Through reconfiguration, the system adapts to the new site, fully demonstrating its versatility. The brightly colored furniture system further enhances the space’s lively atmosphere.
